Howard Murphy has been licensed under the Insurance and Brokers Act of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador since 1990. He is licensed for life and health insurance and is an investment representative and registered to sell mutual funds through Quadrus Investment Services Ltd. A co-founder of Murphy Neil Financial Group Inc., Howard is a graduate of Memorial University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Co-op) degree. His natural preference and expertise lies in working with business owners and key executives to design and find effective benefit solutions. With an affiliation with all of Canada’s top insurance companies and major investment institutions, Howard is able to build strong relationships with his clients by offering unique financial, tax and wealth and estate planning services. Howard has earned financial services designations including Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU),and Chartered Financial Consultant (CH.F.C.) He is currently a member of Advocis and a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the Premier Association of Financial Professionals. His reputation and exampling service to his clients earned him an honoree appointment to the Agents’ Advisory Council with Great-West Life where he currently serves in an advisory capacity to the insurance company’s senior management team.
Scott Neil started his career as a financial security advisor in 1994. As the co-founding member of Murphy Neil Financial Group Inc., he feels obligated to pursue the highest level of financial education possible so he’ll be able to provide several levels of expertise to help ensure all possible solutions can be explored. To this end, he has earned the financial industry’s Registered Heath Underwriter (RHU) designation. As an active member of Advocis, the Financial Advisors Association of Canada, he has served on the board of directors as the educational chair, for three years. As well, he is presently completing his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation and is a member of The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the Premier Association of Financial Professionals.
After 10 successful years in retail management, she became licensed for life and health insurance and moved into the insurance industry in 2003 joining The Cooperators insurance. Tracey joined Murphy Neil Financial Group in 2005 as a financial security advisor, and opened a successful satellite office in Labrador City, NL focusing on life insurance, group insurance and investments. She is currently working on her Registered Heath Underwriter (RHU) designation .
Paul brings to the team 14 years of experience in insurance and financial services. His previous work as part of the management team of a home support company provides a natural preference to specialize in disability income protection and critical illness insurance. As a financial security advisor, Paul has formed strong client relationships and fostered strategic partnerships with a number of national insurance companies. Paul has licensed for life and health insurance in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador in addition to earning his Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) designation.
Judy King has been in financial services administration since 1991. She joined our team in 2005 as office manager. Prior to this she was in various administrative and management positions with Great-West Life for 15 years. Judy is responsible for the coordination of day-to-day business activities of the office. Judy has a diploma in Accounting along with a Business Administration diploma. Over the years, Judy has worked hard in obtaining various industry designations including Fellow Life Management Institute (FLMI), Associate, Customer Service (ACS), Associate, Insurance Agency Administration (AIAA).
Lorelei Moores joined Murphy Neil Financial in November 2009 as administrative assistant. She brings more than five years experience in customer service and administration, including executive assistant with the Gander Chamber of Commerce.
